Removal planning starts with what is on your nails and what you want afterwards. Hard gel, Gel-X, acrylic, dip and other coatings do not all have the same booking description. A blue manicure photograph cannot identify the product system or determine the removal method.
Identify the current product
Tell the studio what service you last received, whether it was applied elsewhere and whether you want all product removed or a new service afterwards. If you do not know the system, say so.
Do not choose a removal method from the color or shape of a reference image. Avoid peeling or forcing product away while waiting for an appointment.
Removal only or a new manicure
A removal-only booking and removal added to a new manicure are different requests. Read the removal options in the service menu and check their inclusions and exclusions.
If you want a natural-length coating afterwards, compare the builder-gel finish choices. If you want added length again, reserve the extension service rather than assuming it is included in removal.
Allow for product and individual nails
Explain any lifting, chips or missing length when you contact the studio. One nail needing cosmetic repair does not necessarily mean the same booking as removing an entire set.
Do not assume every builder or hard-gel product can be soaked off in the same way. The appropriate appointment depends on the actual product and selected service, not a universal at-home timing instruction.
Check the selected calendar
Choose South Tampa or Carrollwood, then review removal, the next service and any design additions together.
Use the current calendar to confirm price, estimated time and availability. If there is pain or a suspected medical problem, do not treat a cosmetic removal appointment as a medical assessment.
