Short Natural Nails: Choosing a Russian Manicure Service

Short nails do not automatically need extensions. Compare the finish you want with the product and length you already have.

Glossy pink almond-shaped nails with thin white French tips.
A pink base and white French tips are separate finish details to discuss when choosing the appointment.

If you want a Russian manicure while keeping your natural length, start with the finish rather than a promise to make every nail look like a reference. Short, bare-looking nails, a nude overlay and a gel-color manicure are different appointments in the Nail Boss Studio menu.

Decide whether you want a coating

A classic no-polish manicure focuses on the preparation and shaping listed in its description, without a gel or polish finish. A rubber-base or builder-gel option adds a coating on the natural nail. A service with gel color is a separate choice.

Compare the manicure prices and service descriptions. The first-time rubber-base option is also listed separately, with its own inclusions and removal exclusions.

Be clear about length and shape

Keeping short natural nails is not the same as asking for a short extension set. Say whether you want your present length, a shorter shape or extra length on particular nails. The technician can discuss what is possible within the service you reserved.

The reference photograph shows a pink base with white French tips. If you want that detail, account for the French design add-on. A basic nude finish does not automatically include a French tip because both can look understated.

Book for what is currently on your nails

Existing gel can still need removal when the new finish will be clear or unpainted. Check whether your product was applied at Nail Boss Studio or elsewhere, and choose the removal option described in the menu.

For a chipped nail or missing length, tell the studio how many nails need attention and whether the repair is part of a main appointment. Do not select a full extension service solely to address one individual nail.

Plan the visit from Lutz

Nail Boss Studio has two Tampa studios, Carrollwood and South Tampa. The neighbourhood in this guide is where a client may travel from, not an additional branch.

Use the studio page for the current phone number and address, then review the selected calendar. Availability and specialist options can differ between the two locations. Check your confirmation before travelling.
