If you are travelling from Beach Park for your first Russian manicure, start with two decisions: which studio you will visit and which finish you want. Nail Boss Studio has locations in South Tampa and Carrollwood; this guide is for Beach Park clients, not a separate Beach Park branch.
Choose the studio before reserving
Our South Tampa studio is at 1952 W Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607. Our Carrollwood studio is at 5121 Ehrlich Rd, Suite 103A, Tampa, FL 33624. Choose the address that works for your visit and check it again in the confirmation.
The booking window lists both studios. Availability belongs to the selected calendar, so changing the studio can change which appointments you see. Allow your own travel and arrival time rather than relying on an estimated journey from a neighbourhood name.
Choose the finish and length you want
A Russian manicure describes the preparation technique, while rubber base, builder gel and gel color describe different parts of the finish. The manicure service guide compares no-polish, first-time rubber-base and gel-color appointments, with their listed prices and times.
If you want nude or translucent nails at your natural length, compare that option with a service that includes a separate gel color. If you want added length, choose an extension appointment. A natural-length overlay does not automatically include extensions. See the builder gel guide for the difference.
Account for the product already on your nails
Tell the studio whether you currently wear gel, dip powder, acrylic, hard gel or Gel-X, and whether another salon applied it. Use the appropriate removal option from the menu; an unexpected removal can require time beyond the appointment you selected.
Check the service description instead of assuming every removal is included. If you do not know the product name, contact the studio before booking and explain what you know. Do not peel off a coating just to arrive with bare nails.
Use a reference photo to plan design time
Bring a photo that shows the shape, length and finish you would like. Explain which details matter to you: the nude base, a solid color, French tips, chrome or hand-painted art. A reference is a starting point for discussion, not a guarantee of an identical result.
Nail art, repairs and extra length can need separate services. Reserve the relevant add-ons rather than selecting a basic appointment and expecting every detail in the photograph to fit the same time. Mention any sensitivity or discomfort before work begins.
Check your confirmation and arrival plan
Before completing the reservation, check the studio address, selected service, listed price, appointment length and add-ons. Review the current booking and arrival policy so you know how to handle a change of plans.
If you also want a pedicure, compare the dry pedicure options separately. The simultaneous manicure-and-pedicure option requires two technicians and availability confirmation; do not assume two procedures will take the time of one appointment.
